Who Am I? 

My name is Joe Stitt. For our final project, I researched my family and family history. First I asked my mom and dad some questions to find out more about my family. Next I emailed my aunt to find out even more about my family history. Once I had enough information, I made a family tree over my entire family. I also made a prezi, info-graphic and a five frame storyboard with the information I got from my mom, dad, and aunt.

Read THIS blog post by a teacher. I mean actually read it. Take it in. Think about it. And then, write about it. What do you think about it? What is the teacher trying to say? In your own words explain what "the main event" is.

I think that the teacher is trying to say that you should do good in school and work hard now so you will be better off when you graduate. The main event is not getting good grades but learning to work hard.

Reflect on your stop-motion animation project. How did it go? What worked? What didn't work? If you're not finished - why? If you are finished go in to detail about the project and what you learned. Give as much detail and information as possible.

My stop motion animation project went well. I took good pictures and put it togeather well. I took a long time to import the photos using google drive.

What is your idea for your stop-motion animation? Explain yourself. Have you started taking photos? If not, when do you plan to take your photos? What is your action plan for today? What is your plan to GET SOMETHING DONE?

My idea for a stop motion is to eat an apple. I plan to take the photos this weekend. Today i will plan how I will take the photos.

What is a storyboard? If you don't know, what do you think it is? How are storyboards used? What are some different ways that storyboards can be made?

A story board is a graphic organizer that uses pictures or images. Story boards can be used as a pre-motion picture, a graphic organizer for a move. Story boards can be made by hand or online. 

Welcome back! How was your Spring Break? Tell me all about it. You've been out of school for 10 days so I know you will have plenty to share. Make it good!

During my spring break I went to California and snowboarded/skied. I go to califonia every year and do the same ting for spring break.

Prepare yourself... I want you to really THINK about this blog post. I mean really use your brain. What is the significance of an infographic? What is the point of pairing graphics and information together? What impact can this have on a reader or viewer. EXPLAIN.

The signfigance of an infographic is that a infographic proves a point or shows information using statistics and graphics. Pairing graphics and information togeather makes the inoraphic interesting to look at but also informs the reader. The imact on the reader is that they become moe informed .

If you had the option of writing a 3 page paper or creating an infographic - which one would you choose? Explain yourself.

I would rather create a ifographic then write a 3 page paper because an infographic is easier to create and more fun.

How far along are you on your infographic? Will you be finished and ready to embed on to your blog by the end of the hour today? Do you think you've used your time wisely in class? Explain yourself.

I would say that i a about 50% done. I might be able to finish today. I did invest my time well because i got alot done. I woul be much farther but i had to restart.

Why do I have you brainstorm and collect your information in a Google Doc before putting in to final draft? Explain.

You have us brainstorm and collect information before putting it in a final draft because it helps us determine how we are going to write the paper and helps us get a better genaral knowledge of the topic.

Yesterday I introduced you to infographics... tell me again what they are and how they are used? What is the benefit of an infographic? What goes into an infogrpahic?

The benifit of a infographc apposed to a paper or other document is that a infographic can be intresting to look at and is made of statistics, graphs, tables, and pictures.

My Global Issue

I did my global issue paper over the cause, effects and prevention of terrorism.

Where are you at with your 5 paragraph essay so far? How is it coming? Is it easy to write? Difficult to write? Is it helpful that you created an outline first? Explain.

I am on my second paragraph. I think it is difficult to write because my outline did not save.

Tell me about your Sweetheart weekend. If you didn't go to Sweetheart, what did you do? I want details!

This weeked, I went to sweetheart at Bravo and to a friends afterwards.

Who do you look up to in life? Why? What have they done to help you or guide you?

I look up to my olderbrother sam and my dad. I lok up to my olderbrother because he was in the millitary and now works very hard to get back in college. I look up to my dad because he is a good dad and works very hard to provide for our family.

Tell me about the global issue you selected yesterday. Briefly restate your paragraph from yesterday.


Yesterday, I chose gun control for my global issue.  The reason I chose gun control is that i shoot and hunt a lot and gun control laws and regulations would impact me directly.

This week end, I hung out with some friends on Friday, then I went pheasant hunting with another friend for the rest of the weekend. 

What have you learned about Google Drive and Google Presentation so far? What do you like about it? What problems have you run in to? Is it better than PowerPoint? Explain.

I have learned that Google drive and Google presentation are easy to use. I like that they are easy to use and that if you work on something in school you can save it onto Google drive and work on it at home. I think its better than power point because its easy use and you can bring it home. 

Tell me if you agree with this statement and then explain why or why not. "Images on the internet are 'free game' - if someone posted I should be able to use it."\

I agree because when  someone posts a picture they know that any one could see it or possibly use it. If you don't want other people using your photo or taking credit for it then don't post it.
